Solar eclipse: Expect delays on the roads and in the air today
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Federal Aviation Administration has issued a travel warning until Wednesday.
A lot of traffic is anticipated in the skies, not just for the eclipse, but also for spring break.
The FAA expects nearly 150,000 flights from Monday through Tuesday.
On the roads, expect no different.
The DOT expects congestion and distracted driving on roads along the path of totality.
Avoid traveling if you can and if you happen to be on the roads don’t pull over to the side for a look and of course watch for pedestrians.
