Some Drips & Drops Midweek!

Another beautiful day outside in Southern New England– that certainly seems to be the trend lately! We’ll have a calm Tuesday night with increasing clouds and patchy fog. Low temperatures will be in the low to mid 50s as we wake up on Wednesday.

Wednesday will stay partly to mostly cloudy, and we’ll have a few scattered showers throughout the day thanks to low pressure cruising by to our south. Highs will be in the low 70s.

Thursday starts in a similar fashion, with clouds around and a few scattered showers through the late morning/early afternoon. While one or two may linger later, clouds and showers clear out in the second half of our Thursday, leading to a beautiful evening. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s.

After our area of low pressure leaves, the door opens to a gorgeous, and very summer-like Friday! It’ll be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 70s/low 80s. Our burst of summer is short-lived however, as a dry cold front sweeps through New England on Friday evening, driving cooler air our way. As a result, weekend highs will be in the upper 60s!

By the way, the countdown to astronomical fall is ON! The Autumnal Equinox is September 22!
