Some Rain, Some Shine This Weekend
We’ve had eight weekends in a row with at least some measurable rain at TF Green. Will we make it nine?
Yes. Yes, we will. But it’s not all bad news!
Overnight, expect more clouds and some patchy fog by morning. Temperatures will be on either side of 60.
Tomorrow, the clouds continue to come in, as well as a few showers as a warm front passes through early in the day. Highs will get into the mid 70s. Then, in the evening, a cold front passes through New England, driving some thunderstorms as it does. Most of those storms will stay to our northwest, but one or two may squeak in to Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts. Stay weather aware!
Sunday looks nicer as clouds decrease and we get a partly to mostly sunny afternoon! Highs will be in the low 80s for the coast, and the mid 80s inland. It’ll be slightly less muggy as well. Overall? I’d call it a pretty solid beach day.
Looking into next week, Monday is pretty close to a copycat of Sunday: sun & clouds, highs in the mid and upper 80s. The biggest difference is that humidity will increase throughout the day.
Tuesday, another cold front come through driving showers and a few storms. Highs will be in the mid and upper 80s again. The good news is, the middle and end of next week look great for July 4th festivities!
