Some Wet & Dreary Days Ahead

It’s been a soggy start to the week, and we’re not done with the rain just yet.

An area of low pressure is stagnant over the northeastern third of the US, bringing us a rinse-and-repeat forecast. We’ll have rounds of showers still this evening, then a brief break in the rain in the wee early hours of Tuesday. That said, by Tuesday morning, showers start up again. Temperatures in the morning will be largely in the mid 50s.

We’ll have dry breaks here and there Tuesday afternoon. However, in between those breaks, we’re not only looking for a few showers, but even a few thunderstorms possible as well. High temperatures will be in the low 60s for the coast and mid 60s for inland cities.

Wednesday will also bring scattered showers and a storm or two possible. Temperatures will be slightly warmer in the mid and upper 60s.

The weather finally dries a little on Thursday. Expect a few clouds to stick around, but considerably more sunshine than most of week. Temperatures will be in the upper 60s and low 70s. All that said, we’re looking a few showers to return in the evening.
