Somerset Fire Chief Scott Jepson dead at 54

Providence (WLNE)- The town of Somerset, Massachusetts issued a statement confirming the sudden death of Fire Chief Scott Jepson this afternoon.

Police and fire personnel were called to 54-year-old Jepson’s home following a call that he was injured.

Jepson was transported to Charlton Hospital in Fall River where he was pronounced dead

While the Bristol County District Attorney has an investigation open, no foul play is suspected.

The 27-year veteran of the Somerset Fire Department leaves behind a wife and son.
