Man returns tips he stole from Somerset restaurant

SOMERSET, Mass. (WLNE)- The man who stole from a tip jar at a restaurant in Somerset returned the tips to the employees.

TnT Coney Island shared surveillance footage of the man stealing the money just before 3 p.m. on Saturday.

“Stealing tips from our employees… Who would ever take away from kids working?” the Facebook post read.

The Somerset police chief told ABC6 that the owner got information about the suspect from the public. The owner then gave the info to police, then the man agreed to give back the money.
