South Coast Rail work in New Bedford to continue

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — Construction on South Coast Rail will continue this weekend.

Starting this Saturday through May 5, buses will replace train service between Middleboro, Lakeville, and Bridgewater Station to allow work on the tracks.

Construction will also be working on the new pedestrian bridge across Route 18.

This specific work will continue on weekdays from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
