South Kingstown house fire sends one firefighter to hospital

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE): A house was engulfed in flames on Breakwater Rd. in South Kingstown on Saturday night. 

One firefighter was transported to South County Hospital for dehydration, according to the South Kingstown Police Department. 

No residents or pets were harmed due to the fire. 

The Rhode Island State Fire Marshall is on the scene to investigate how the fire started. Police do not believe it is suspicious. 

Union Fire and Kingston Fire Districts, South Kingstown Police and South Kingstown Emergency Medical Services all assisted.
