UPDATE: South Kingstown Police identify victim in deadly hit-and-run

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — South Kingstown police have identified the female victim involved in the deadly hit-and-run Monday night.
According to police, 75-year-old Mary F. Kemp of Wakefield had been hit as she was crossing the street. She was transported to South County Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
29-year-old Leslie Morales of South Kingstown is facing charges Tuesday for her alleged role in a deadly hit-and-run accident Monday night.
South Kingstown and Narragansett police responded to the area of Old Tower Hill Road and Narragansett Avenue at approximately 6 p.m. Monday.
Soon after, police discovered the car believed to be involved in the accident in the same area as the accident.
Police say two people were still trapped inside.
Morales will face a judge Tuesday morning at the Washington County Court. Her charges include DUI death resulting and leaving the scene of an accident.
