South Kingstown Police make 3 DUI arrests within 90 minutes

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — The South Kingstown Police Department said it arrested three men for suspected DUI within 90 minutes of each other on Aug. 8 and Aug. 9.

33-year-old Gabriel Plummer, or Worcester, was charged with driving under the influence of liquor and/or drugs – BAC unknown and refusal to submit to a chemical test.

61-year-old George Lenihan, of South Kingstown, was charged with driving under the influence of liquor and/or drugs – BAC unknown and refusal to submit to a chemical test.

41-year-old Gregory Southworth, of Exeter, was charged with driving under the influence of liquor and/or drugs – BAC greater than .15 – 2nd offense.

Police alleged that Plummer admitted to consuming alcohol, that Lenihan was pouring liquor out of his car after crashing into a median, and that Southworth displayed “signs of impairment” after crashing into a tree.
