Spooky Halloween village at Taunton home draws hundreds

TAUNTON, Mass. (WLNE) — A house in Taunton is home to one of the biggest and spookiest interactive Halloween displays in all of Southern New England. It’s the brainchild of Claudio Frias, who’s been doing this now for 25 years.
“When I was a kid I just loved Halloween,” said Frias.
For the so-called “King of Pumpkins,” decorating for Halloween has gone from a hobby to an obsession.
“Every year it gets bigger and bigger, so I have a blast with it,” said Frias.
About 500 people come out every year to his haunted Halloween village.
From a giant pumpkin patch to a haunted garage to a spooky cemetery, a lot of this stuff is actually repurposed trash.
“Exactly, when I see it I think what can I use this for,” said Frias.
The Halloween village is open to the public every Halloween night.
