A strong storm system is head our way set to impact our region overnight into Thursday morning. Strong cold front associated will trigger a significant drop in temperatures. This storm promises strong to damaging winds as of tonight into Thursday. Strongest winds to impact our region tomorrow afternoon and and overnight into Thursday that may lead to power outages. Heavy rain is expected with this system. Not ruling out risk for flooding in flood-prone areas. Dry conditions on Thursday with plenty of sunshine but cold, highs in the mid to upper-30s wind chill values in the teens. Temperatures rebound quickly and nicely by Friday to begin another warming trend into the 50s over the weekend with a slight chance for rain on Saturday.
