Spring with a winter feel

Bundle up, it’ll continue to be cold through the afternoon with wind chills in the 20s.  Sunny skies prevail on this Friday.  Clouds increase tonight ahead of frontal system that promises unsettled weather after midnight through tomorrow night.  At the onset of this storm we could see snow, little to no accumulation is expected.  The changeover will take place soon after to an all-rain event that could lead to 2-3 inches of rain, possible flooding, flood watch has been issued and go into effect Saturday morning through Sunday morning.  Potential for flooding along the Pawtuxet and Wood River.  The wind will pick up, gusting up to 35-40 mph.  Heaviest rainfall is expected Saturday afternoon through midnight.  Sunday features sun, temperature in the low 40s, remains gusty.  Below average temperatures through Tuesday with partial sunshine.  Rain moves in Tuesday night into Thursday.
