PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The annual Feast of St. Joseph returned to Federal Hill on Saturday.

The celebration was moved from its traditional date on March 19 to take advantage of the warmer weather.

Organizers said they expected turnout to be 50,000 people.

The event features a meatball tasting competition, a zepolle eating contest, an Italian wine and cheese tasting, and the procession of St. Joseph’s statue.
