State and local police investigate double shooting in Dedham, one victim killed in incident
DEDHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — Dedham police and Massachusetts State Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the town’s BJ’s store parking lot early Wednesday morning.
Police responded to the Route 1 parking lot at approximately 3:30 a.m. after several 911 calls stemming from an incident at the location, according to the Norfolk District Attorney’s office.
Arriving officers discovered two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds, and both were transported to an area hospital.
One of the victims was pronounced deceased while the surviving victim remains under hospital treatment.
