State police: 1 dead in rollover crash in Brockton

BROCKTON, Mass. (AP) — Authorities say one person has died in an early morning crash on Route 24 in Brockton.

State police say the southbound car rolled over just after 5 a.m. Friday.

The lone occupant of the vehicle died.

No other vehicles were involved.

The victim’s name was not immediately made public.

The crash was causing major delays in both directions during the morning commute. 

All three southbound travel lanes were closed and traffic was only being allowed to pass in the breakdown lane.
