State Police announce arrests of 11 in “Operation Brick Houses”

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island State Police announced the arrest of 11 individuals after concluding a multi-year investigation into drug trafficking in the Providence area.
Titled “Operation Brick Houses,” the investigation looked into different people with gang affiliations in the city who were responsible for violent offenses around the city and surrounding areas since October of 2023, according to the RISP.
That month, the RISP claims, information gathered following a highway shooting revealed a network of organized criminals.
The operation also resulted in 130 search warrants being executed, which recovered five guns, 738 grams of illegal narcotics, and $42,000.
Most of those arrested face drug possession and conspiracy charges, while a few face assault and drive-by shooting charges.
Pawtucket and Johnston Police both assisted in the investigation.
