State Police identify victims of fatal I-95 crash

RICHMOND, R.I. (WLNE) – State Police have identified the victims of the fatal accident on I-95 in Richmond that resulted in one death and one passenger sent to the hospital Friday night.

According to Police, Igor Nadtochij, 49, and Kimora Hodge, 35, of Franklin, MA, were involved in an accident on I-95 Southbound in Richmond near exit 3 around 8:40 p.m. Friday.

According to police, Nadtochij, the driver, lost control of the vehicle and veered off the road. The car then re-entered the roadway and hit another car, causing the vehicle driven by Nadtochij to roll over and catch fire.

Both Nadtochij and Hodge were ejected from the vehicle during the accident.

Nadtochij was pronounced dead at the scene. Hodge was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle, Frederick Steindler, 40, of New York, New York, was not injured.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
