State Police are investigating after two bomb threats were made to the Rhode Island Training School.
Officials say a threat was made to the school on Wednesday following one made last week. Both threats were unfounded.
Police are now investigating whether the threats are related to the 16-year-old suspect from Newport who was arrested in connection to a bomb threat at Rogers High School earlier this month, as well as multiple others across Rhode Island.
The Rogers High School student is facing 18 felony charges, including 15 counts of making a bomb threat and two extortion and blackmail charges.
The threats at each school were made by robo-call, which is similar to the calls made to the training school.
Detective Matthew Moynihan tells ABC6 News that the incidents are under investigation, but it is unknown at this time if they are connected.
