State Police investigating deadly crash in Lincoln
LINCOLN, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island State Police said that it was investigating a crash that occurred on Route 146 South on Aug. 16.
The crash occurred in Lincoln around 10 p.m.
#Update: Rhode Island State Police say one person was killed in the crash, but their identity has not been released at this time.
According to a preliminary investigation, high speeds and reckless driving are believed to have been factors in the crash. @ABC6

Police said that one person was killed and that the involved vehicles were “engulfed in flames.”
A video sent to ABC 6 News by a viewer showed one vehicle that was on fire.
