State Police investigating fatal pedestrian hit in Richmond

RICHMOND, R.I (WLNE) – Rhode Island State Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened early Tuesday morning in Richmond.
Police say they responded to Route 95 North for an accident involving a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian at 2:30 A.M
The subsequent investigation revealed that a tractor-trailer, operated by a man from New Haven, CT, was traveling at a low rate of speed when a pedestrian had entered the lane of travel.
The pedestrian, identified as 64-year-old Clark W. Reynolds of Exeter, was pronounced dead at the scene.
