The Station Fire Memorial Foundation service planned for Sunday, February 15th, has been postponed due to the impending snow storm.

Survivors of the 2003 nightclub fire and friends and family members of the victims were planning to mark the 12th anniversary at West Warwick High School.

Pyrotechnics for a show at The Station nightclub ignited flammable foam inside the building, killing 100 people on February 20th, 2003.

Gina Russo, president of the foundation, said the observance will be rescheduled and the details are to be announced.

Russo hopes that next year’s ceremony can be held at a finished memorial.
