Still humid today with scattered rain & storms
Much cooler tomorrow and into the weekend
Another mild and muggy morning across Southern New England with humid conditions continuing today. We’ll break away from the 90s but still top out in the mid 80s this afternoon. Expect a mix of sun and clouds as the morning progresses with scattered showers and storms this afternoon. The storms won’t be severe, but rain, thunder/lightning, and brief wind gusts will be possible. Heavy rain expected overnight with lows in the 60s.
Friday will start with steady showers. The afternoon stays cloudy and damp with highs significantly cooler, expect low 70s. Overnight will be mostly cloudy with some scattered showers, lows in the low 60s. Saturday looks chilly for early July. Expect highs to not even make it to 70°! Topping out in the mid to upper 60s. The day looks mostly cloudy with some scattered showers at times.
Sunday for The 4th of July expect temperatures to make it into the mid 70s, cool for this time of year. Mostly cloudy with some sun popping through at times. Also can’t rule out some stray showers, although much of the day looks dry.
Monday expect partly cloudy conditions with highs more seasonable in the low 80s.
Heat and humidity return for Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the mid to upper 80s.
