Stormy Sunday Weather
Sunday will be Storm Tracker Alert Day for the potential of severe weather. We have a warm front coming through in the morning and it will bring rain that may be locally heavy at times as well as gusty thunderstorms. Some of these thunderstorms may bring damaging winds, small hail and downpours. A later in the day cold front will keep us under thunderstorm threat from the afternoon into the night. Clouds will be here with these fronts, but in between the fronts, we will be mostly sunny, muggy and warm with highs near 84. Monday we welcome a while new airmass to the region. It will include tons of sunshine, comfortable humidity levels and a pleasant northwesterly flow. Highs will be near 81 Monday. Tuesday will be another bright and sun-filled day with cooler highs in the upper-70s and really comfortable too! Sunshine continues through Wednesday with highs back in the lower-80s, Thursday will see the humidity return with mostly sunny skies and highs near 85. Friday will be unsettled with sun and clouds, high humidity and hot temperatures in the lower-90s. There is also chance of showers and thunderstorms that could last into Friday night. Saturday looks good so far with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper-80s.
