Student accidentally shoots self at SC school

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) _ Deputies say a student brought a gun to a South Carolina high school and suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Greenville County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Drew Pinciaro said in a news release that investigators are still trying to figure out what happened Friday morning in the cafeteria at Southside High School.
No other students were injured.
School district officials were starting to dismiss students to buses, drive home or be picked up by their parents.
Details about the student and how the gun got into the school have not been released.
