Student found dead at UMass Dartmouth

A 20-year-old student was found dead at UMass Dartmouth from an apparent accidental drug overdose.
Students were notified of the death via email from the campus administration on Saturday morning.
The student was found dead in his Birch Hall room Friday night at 11p.m.
The university has been in contact with the young man’s family and several of his friends. They will continue to reach out and assist in counseling mournful students.
