Students, fans, welcome back Friars to Providence College following tournament wins
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- A group of students and fans gathered to welcome the Providence College men’s basketball team back to campus on Sunday afternoon.
The Friars arrived outside of the Concannon Fitness Center and were met by hundreds of excited fans and students at around 3 p.m.
The team returned from earning its first Sweet Sixteen berth since 1997.
