Summer Sunshine To End The Workweek!
What a difference a day makes!
Clouds parted to make way for beautiful sunshine across Southern New England for our Thursday! We’ll stay mostly clear overnight, and temperatures will largely be in the upper 50s as we wake up on Friday morning. Not a bad night to give the A/C a break and open up the windows! We can certainly do that now that our air quality is back to normal.
Friday looks nearly identical to today. It’ll be mostly sunny with highs largely between 75-80 degrees. A beautiful day to get outside… and a beautiful day for the Pats preseason home opener against the Commanders! If you’re heading to Gillette, know you’re in for a great game and great weather (mostly clear after sunset and cooling down quickly– bring a sweatshirt if you get cold easily).
The weekend looks wonderful, too! Mostly sunny both days with highs in the low 80s Saturday and mid 80s Sunday. What a win for everyone with outdoor plans!
Now, I will give this disclaimer: at this point, we could use a bit of rain. It’s been rather dry lately, and while we’re not technically in drought conditions, parts of RI and southeastern MA are in dry conditions.
Instead, we’re getting a hot, and largely dry start to and middle of the coming week. More on that in the coming days, but enjoy the beautiful, comfortable weather while we have it!
