Sun fades to gray starting Tuesday, more rain later this week
It may have been windy and chilly on Monday but at least we had plenty of sunshine. The same will not be able to be said about Tuesday.
The chilly temperatures stick around and it will be quite breezy under overcast skies tomorrow. A few light showers are possible as well, especially in the morning.
Mainly cloudy skies will continue through Friday, with rain chances increasing beginning late Wednesday. A slow-moving cold front may stall nearby for Thursday and Friday.
This could give us 1-2″ of rain, which will bring our monthly total well over 10″. After this past Saturday, PVD is now in the midst of the second wettest March on record!
The Saturday soaker also through our rivers back into flood stage, but they are fortunately headed down and will have a few more days to do so before the next measurable rain.
Things will fortunately dry out for Easter weekend, but it is looking a bit windy both days. Temperatures will at least be seasonable, in the low-50s.
