Sun makes a brief return Friday before more rain Saturday Night into Sunday

Minor river flooding continues into the weekend as well

The rain is done.(for now!) Skies will begin to clear tonight with lots of sunshine in store tomorrow.

The 1-2″ of rain that fell last night threw our rivers into a minor flood stage, but since we picked up about one inch less than expected, we avoided the worst case scenario.

Rivers will crest early on Friday before receding into the weekend. Clouds will increase on Saturday and rain will arrive Saturday night. Another 1″ may fall through Sunday morning.

Next week’s weather is looking much better. After a chilly and blustery day Monday, temperatures will rise through the 50s through midweek, with some sunny days as well!
