Sunny and cold this morning ahead of incoming snow

Lovely afternoon with plenty of sunshine and chilly temperatures.

Clouds increase today ahead of a weather system from the Great Lakes that will bring us a touch of winter.  Snow will accumulate lightly across central and souther parts of our state to less than an inch.  Northern parts could see between 1-2″ inches of snow.  This system is expected to exit the region before sunrise.  Friday is panning out to be mostly sunny with temperatures in the upper 30s with strong gusty winds.  Next chance for little to no snow is Saturday.  Sunny and cold on Sunday with seasonable weather by next week.
