Sunny skies and breezy conditions today
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Today mostly sunny skies with winds out of the west.
It will be breezy as we head through the day seeing 10-15mph winds, but around Block Island, and the Cape Islands winds will be gusting up to 25mph
We have a Moderate Rip Current level and the winds and/or wave conditions support stronger or more frequent rip currents. Only experienced surf swimmers should enter the water. This is for Block Island, and the Cape Islands.
Overnight tonight it will be clear and Crisp! Low humidity levels and a great night for camping or being outdoors.
Saturday dew points are low and it’s my pick of the weekend.
We could see an overnight shower/t’storm move through. Sunday morning looks good, but by afternoon we have a 30% chance of thunderstorms late afternoon.
