Sunny with strong winds this afternoon!

Wrapping up this workweek with bright sunshine and gusty winds up to 56 mph locally, up to 50

mph over much of Massachusetts, including Cape & Islands and northern Connecticut.  Dry conditions will extend into the overnight hours.  A weather system may bring a slight chance of snow locally with little to no accumulation this Saturday.  Temperatures will be in the mid-30s.  Sunday is panning out to be a sunny day with colder temperatures, high 35.  President’s Day will also feature plenty of sunshine with temperatures in the upper-30s.  The normal high for Providence is 41°.  We’ll see average temperatures by Wednesday and slightly above normal on Thursday, mid-40s.
