Stellar and superb weather prevails in the region with abundant sunshine and temperatures climbing to seasonable, mid to upper-70s. We anticipate mild days and cool nights to continue. Overnight lows are expected to dip into the low-50s. Another fabulous day of sunshine and average temperatures will accompany us tomorrow. Milder air will usher into the region Thursday and Friday into the weekend with wall to wall sunshine and temperatures moderating into the 80-degree range. Meanwhile, we continue keeping an eye on Tropical Storm Francine expected to strengthen to a Hurricane today. It’s forecast to make landfall tomorrow along the Louisiana coast sometime tomorrow as a Cat. 2 Hurricane with life-threatening storm surge.
