Suspect accused of murdering Lincoln couple found dead

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE): A man accused of murdering a couple inside of their apartment in Lincoln, was found dead inside of his cell.
Timothy McQuesten, 49, was found unresponsive in his single cell at the Intake Service Center on Monday, according to a spokesperson for the Rhode Island Dept. of Corrections.
The spokesperson released this statement to ABC6 News:
They immediately began performing CPR while they waited for Cranston Rescue to arrive. The inmate was transported to Rhode Island Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The Department of Corrections Investigative Units and the Rhode Island State Police are still investigating the matter. No foul play is suspected.”
McQuesten was charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Kimberly Dupre, 60, and her husband Mark Dupre, 65.
A neighbor called police after she found Kimberly Dupre dead inside of their apartment on Main Street on January 14. Mark Dupre was taken to the hospital where he later died.
McQuesten was being held without bail and was supposed to appear back in court later this month.
