Suspect arrested after police pursuit in Taunton

A male is in custody after allegedly carjacking a vehicle and leading police on a pursuit in Taunton Friday afternoon.
40 year old Bruno Tinoco was arrested after leading police on a chase for allegedly carjacking a vehicle from a female on Broadway Street in Taunton and attempting to rob a CVS in Raynham on July 24th at 1:17 p.m.
The pursuit ended on Short Street where the suspect crashed into a vehicle. No injuries were reported and the vehicle that was hit sustained moderate damage.
The incident is under investigation.
