Suspect captured after allegedly stabbing 6 people in Massachusetts

BRAINTREE, Mass. (WLNE) — The Braintree and Plymouth Police Departments said a suspect is in custody after two stabbing incidents in Massachusetts on May 25.

Police said that the suspect entered the Braintree AMC around 6 p.m., entered a theater without paying, and stabbed four juvenile girls “without any warning.”

The suspect then fled in a black SUV, went to a McDonalds in Plymouth, and then stabbed a man and woman.

Massachusetts State Police pursued the suspect’s vehicle, which failed to stop, and the suspect eventually crashed in Sandwich.

Police said the incidents appear related. The suspect is being treated at an area hospital.

The four juveniles, whose ages ranged from 9-years-old to 17-years-old, were all treated at local hospitals for non-life threatening injures.

The 29-year-old man and 21-year-old woman were also treated for non-life threatening injuries.
