Suspect in 2024 New Bedford stabbing murder expected to make new plea deal

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The suspect in a deadly 2024 New Bedford stabbing is expected to make a new a plea deal Tuesday.

Tyler Dow Baglini of Dartmouth is accused of stabbing 31-year-old Kerri Fidalgo in her New Bedford apartment.

Fidalgo died at the scene of the attack.

Baglini received a psychiatric evaluation at an area hospital after he was named as the suspect.

He pleaded not guilty in December of 2024 in the incident and will appear in court at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
