Suspect in custody, police searching for another in Easton manhunt
EASTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Officials said one suspect is in custody, and another is on the run after an attempted traffic stop Wednesday night.
Officials on scene told ABC6 News crews that officers were attempting to pull over a U-Haul van when the occupants bailed out on Church Street.
Police were able to take one of the suspects into custody, and are using a drone and K-9 units to locate the other.
The suspect in custody is believed to have minor injuries.
ABC6 News crews on scene reported seeing multiple police cruisers on Washington Street and Pine Street.
Multiple units with Massachusetts State Police responded to the area.
