Suspect in East Providence stabbing expected in court

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Valdini Correia is expected in court for a status conference at Garrahy Judicial Complex after being held without bail in a stabbing incident last Monday.

Correia, 25, is facing charges of domestic burglary, assault and domestic disorderly conduct for stabbing someone in the head on February 16.

According to police, the incident involved an ex-girlfriend and occurred on Crescent Avenue.
