Suspect in Hasbro hidden camera case to appear in court

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A former Lifespan employee was arrested and will be charged in the case of a hidden camera found in a Hasbro Children’s Hospital bathroom.
Jason Baker, 47, has been charged with one count of video voyeurism and is expected in court Thursday.
Providence police say that the investigation is ongoing.
According to the hospital, the camera was found Tuesday in a locked staff bathroom that was not accessible to patients or the public.
The camera, connected to a USB wall charger, was immediately removed by the staff member who discovered it.
Hospital security completed “an exhaustive sweep of all hospital bathrooms.”
A spokesperson for Lifespan said that Baker no longer has access to Lifespan facilities.
