Suspect shot by police in Lakeville held without bail

BROCKTON, Mass. (WLNE) — A man charged in connection to an officer-involved shooting in Lakeville, Massachusetts was held pending the outcome of a dangerousness hearing, the Plymouth County District Attorney said Monday.

Massachusetts State Police said they’re investigating the officer-involved shooting that left 45-year-old Timothy Hladik of Lakeville wounded.

As a result of the investigation, state and Lakeville police got an arrest warrant and charged Hladik with two counts each of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and threat to commit a crime.

Hladik was arraigned from his hospital bed at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford. He was held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing.

Hladik is set to appear in court on Oct. 12.
