‘Suspicious’ North Kingstown fire leaves four displaced
NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — The North Kingstown Fire Department said a family of four was displaced after a fire at a trailer Thursday evening.
The fire occurred on Krzak Road around 6:30 p.m. with officials taking roughly 25 minutes to put out the flames.
The cause of the fire was under investigation by the state fire marshal and detectives, as they believed the cause to be suspicious.
No one was injured in the fire, but the department said a cat was removed from the home and given oxygen on scene.
Crews remained on the scene for several hours Thursday night and did not release any further details into the nature of the investigation.
