SUV crashes into gatehouse at Narragansett’s Dunes Club

NARRAGANSETT, RI – An SUV drove right into the front wall of a Dunes Club gatehouse Wednesday evening, just before 7o’clock.  A wife inside the home told ABC-6 News that she, her husband and son were all having dinner together in the back room when they heard a loud smash. She said she called 9-1-1 before even looking to see what happened.

They reportedly found the front end of an SUV, inside their dining room.  There was a water main break as a result of the crash.

According to Narragansett Police, four people where in the vehicle that hit the gatehouse. There were no reported injuries. What caused the crash is currently under investigation.
