Swansea fire officials say two people taken to hospital after car accident

SWANSEA, Mass. (WLNE) — The Swansea Fire Department said two people were taken to the hospital after a multi-vehicle accident Tuesday morning.

According to officials, crews responded to Interstate 195 for a two-car accident, resulting in one car rolling over early Tuesday morning.

At the scene, firefighters had to removed the roof of a car to free a patient who was trapped inside.

Fire officials said two people were taken to Rhode Island Hospital.
