Taunton and Easton rep Doherty dies at 82

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Representative Carol Doherty has died at 82-years-old.

According to her office, she passed away Saturday morning after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

Doherty, a democrat, was first elected in 2020 and represented the third Bristol district of Taunton and Easton.
