Taunton man drowns in Plymouth

PLYMOUTH, Mass. – A Taunton man has died, after drowning in a state forest in Plymouth.

State police say it happened at Curlew Pond around 11:15 Sunday morning. When authorities arrived, someone was already performing CPR on the 69 year-old.

He was rushed to the hospital, where he later died.

Witnesses reported he wasn’t wearing a life jacket. Police are investigating.
