Taunton man facing federal child exploitation charges

TAUNTON, Mass. (WLNE) – A Taunton man is facing federal charges of child exploitation.

Cody Mercure, 24, is accused of sexual exploitation of a child and distributing child pornography.

According to the indictment, it involved a toddler.

Mercure is in state custody and will appear in federal court at a later date.
