Taunton mayor’s daughter reported missing from mental health facility in Ohio

TAUNTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Taunton Mayor Shaunna O’Connell said Wednesday that her daughter is missing from a wellness facility in Ohio.

O’Connell said that her daughter, Riley O’Connell, has been receiving mental health treatment from the Evoke Wellness facility for over a month before she went missing.

“Ted and I are extremely worried about her safety and well being,” she said. “We are working with the facility, police, and missing persons to find her as soon as possible to bring her home.”

Police in Hilliard asked anyone who has information on Riley’s whereabouts to call 911.

Riley, 18, is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall, with blonde hair. The ends may be dyed red.

She was last seen down the road from the facility around 1 a.m. on Wednesday morning.

She was wearing black shorts and a pink shirt.

O’Connell said her re-election kick off event has been postponed, as her daughter’s well-being is her top priority.
