Taunton school bus carrying 26 middle schoolers involved in crash

TAUNTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Taunton Public Schools said that a school bus carrying 26 Parker Middle School students was involved in a crash Friday morning.

The crash occurred around 8 a.m. near Ingell Street and County Street.

The school said that five students were transported to Morton Hospital for evaluation for complaints of pain, and an administrator accompanied them.

Officials added that the rest of the students were brought to the school where they were monitored throughout the day by nurses and faculty.

The collision if being investigated by police and all parents of involved students were notified.
